It's been a while since I've posted! Recently I remade my Attack on Titan harness for my Eren cosplay.
Since I use my harness to also partially support the weight of my 3D Maneuvering Gear, I needed to use a stronger material than before. This time around I made the entire harness out of leather and rivets. Although the rivets aren't 100% accurate to the show, they don't weaken the strength of the leather like sewing it would have.
*HUGE AWESOME THING ABOUT LEATHER HARNESS* Since I riveted the belts together instead of sewing, the belts were able to swivel at each point it was attached allowing better movement. I should have gone this route much sooner!
The gray details are still vinyl with heavy weight interfacing inside. The wingnuts are there because that's how I attach my 3DMG.
